I have heard several questions among the Christian community concerning whether to take or not to take the Covid-19 Vaccinations? As I listened to those that questioned the validity of the vaccine my thoughts were these. As Christians, we have two promises to stand in faith with. They are the blood of Jesus’ covenant promise and the power of life and death in our tongues to speak it in faith.
I believe that every time we see a doctor and leave with a prescription it has been put together by a Research Scientist. Your instruction(s) from your doctor is to take the medicine according to science directions, and many do daily to maintain a reasonable portion of health and strength.
My question to those same people is this: The Vaccine has saved thousands of lives. Did you look at the count of those affected that did not get vaccinated and had underlying disease and illness? Did you know that those with Type-2 Diabetes are at a higher risk if not vaccinated. I want to suggest that you get the facts from the CDC.
Vaccines continue to reduce a person’s risk of contracting the virus that causes Covid-19, including the New Delta variant. The COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the United States are highly effective at preventing severe diseases and deaths.
Vaccines are playing a crucial role in limiting the spread of the virus and minimizing severe disease. Although vaccines are highly effective, they are not perfect and there will be vaccine breakthrough infections. Millions of Americans are vaccinated, and that number is growing. So now you know being vaccinated helps deter the increase of you being struck with the virus unto death.
Being Christian or Believer in Christ, we have a responsibility to pray and seek the Kingdom of God first for ourselves to discern the will of God. Our bodies are the Temples of God and we are the leaders in the body of Christ and our communities to stay healthy. Be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer. Here are a few scriptures to consider Matthew 6:33, 7: 7-8, James 2: 14-26, and Luke 18:1.
